Every parent wants their child to live a life filled with better opportunities. That’s why every year, we partner with a city to give all babies born on May 3 (5/3) the gift of $1,053 toward a 529 college savings plan.
How to Redeem Your Gift1
To start saving for your baby’s bright future, follow these three steps:
- Visit go.53.com/babies and fill out a W-9 and Gift Acceptance Form.
- Once processed, you’ll receive an email within one business day from our partner, "Gift of College," informing you that your gift card is activated and ready to be redeemed.
- Follow the instructions in the email to redeem into a newly-established or existing 529 plan account.
Since our program started in 2017, we’ve given away $522,288 in college funding.
