Loan-Payment Hardship Concerns
Special policies are in place to help address disaster-related hardship related to auto loans, credit card balances and loans secured by real estate. If you are experiencing hardship regarding a mortgage, home equity line or loan, auto loan or credit card balance, now or in the future, representatives are available at 866-601-6391 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday. To better direct your call, please use:
- Option 1 for Home Equity Line of Credit
- Option 2 for first Mortgage.
- Option 3 for Credit Card, Unsecured Lines and Loans.
- Option 4 for Auto loans, Recreational Vehicles or Boats.
Insurance-related Procedures
A special process has been put in place to expedite handling of insurance reimbursement checks and loss drafts. If you have received your claim check and adjuster's worksheet, contact us at 1-855-453-6770 (Monday- Friday 8am-5pm), visit our website www.myclaimfunds.com/53 or visit your local financial center. If you need account assistance on matters that are not disaster-related, please message us on 53.com or call a Fifth Third Bank customer service representative at 800-972-3030 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday ET.
Customer Assistance in FEMA- declared Disaster Areas for Individual Assistance
Customers in areas declared disasters by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) may be eligible to receive the following relief:
Individuals affected by recent hurricanes may apply for an SBA disaster loan either on SBA’s webpage for disaster assistance or directly through the SBA Loan Portal.
For businesses located in Florida, you may be eligible for The Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program. Visit FloridaJobs.org/EBL to view the lending guidelines and required documentation and complete an application by the December 4, 2024 deadline. Business owners who need further program information may call 833-832-4494 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., ET.
